Fitness Fresh

I’m loving how all of these fitness and athletic gear are damn near runway worthy.  For the longest time there was only boring ill fitting black and gray tights and hoodies to wear to the gym.  Now you got spicy, couture like, creative designs…all to work out in. Winning!   Yes I am one of those girls who goes to the gym looking cute or matching at least.  I see nothing wrong with that.  The workout gear gives me something else to look forward to.  If you follow my snap you see my excitement for my new prints, colors for the gym.  I say dress how you want and be cute  as long as you are actually working out.   I found this dope Rita Ora X Adidas Jacket two months ago.  While it has the original Adidas feel, the prints and the bow spoke High Fashion.  I absolutely will not we sweating in this.  My full and only intentions are to wear it with cute outfits. The beauty of it is that if I …

Diamonds and Pearls

When packing to go anywhere, grab some sort of sequins, textured fabric  and sneakers. Preferably  Converse sneakers. Oh and your fringe H&M earrings that go with everything. I pack like a crazy person, never really having a whole look, but things seem to always work out.  To be honest I think I just like the rush of planning an outfit on the spot.  That or I just will never get used to pre-planning outfits when I don’t know how I’m going to feel.  Yes it’s that serious.  Why would I dress opposite of how I feel if my ensemble can exude my exact mood that day?  Exactly there’s no reason at all. I looked at the dress and thought “hmmm all this white and all this glitter?! and then the typical Vana response of “Why not?!”.  Once I give myself the “why …

Not So Mellow, Yellow!

Nothing makes me happier than bright colors. Days when I’m over the top happy and bubbly I want it to show. This outfit is the quickest way to describe my mood without me having to tell you. Clothes don’t get any happier than this yellow and white jumpsuit from 40South street. I wore it once before to a graduation party and paired it with royal blue satin strap peep toes that had a small diamond embroider buckle (details matter!).   This time around, I wanted it to be worn differently. Most importantly, appropriate for the day I was having. It’s so easy to wear our pieces the same way ALL. THE. TIME…. BORING! So of course I threw on my favorite pair of heels aka my Converse sneakers that I purposely keep beat up. They are just not as fun clean… like where’s the personality? What’s the story?! It was a little awkward when I picked up my six year old from school. I’m happily walking to the line and here are the other parents looking …
