In A Nutshell

So I just sat for about an hour writing content for this post only to decide after viewing the pics that I  no longer cared for those words with these pics.  Like Seriously, blogging is more than cute pics! So much thought and hours goes into 7-8 pics.  I appreciate any blogger who’s past the two year mark because it is so easy to give up. Not that frustrated about it though,  I’ll just  take it as a sign that I still care for this deeply and truly. Anyways, I’m still head over heels for these Nº21  mules just like I was when I first saw them. I typically don’t splurge on shoes, but I make an exception once in a while. I look at it as an investment and instead of two basic shoes , I have one that does the work for both. These were definitely worth it.  While they are trendy within the fashion/ Influencer community, it’s still a gem that will always be a “oooh”…even seasons and years  later. If I’m ever over them they are still shelve …

Glow

Morning Sugar’s! Back in Boston ,but still in vaca vibes. My mood is extra upbeat and rejuvenated. I  made it back Sunday in time to have dinner with my family, watch Power, get some rest and shoot yesterday morning and cook dinner yesterday evening(view my Instagram stories). Tackling my to do list like that reminds of how time can be on our side when we plan and act.  Puerto Rico was so good to me. I ate well, very well and pretty much relaxed other than threatening my son with a time out every other Palm Tree we passed (the kid complains about everything). I love how my skin glowed the last few days there.  A shade or two darker, no sunburn is forever vacation goals. Resting also helped with this glow. In my last post I talked about Self Care and traveling being one of mine. This trip was just what I needed with my children’s Back 2 school schedule coming and New York Fashion Week in two weeks.  Let’s hope I can keep …

SELF CARE

This may sound redundant, but it’s already  mid August!(inserts crying emoji)Like where? How?  And if you are a Mom you have the Back to school Blues and all these commercial reminders of how much back to school supplies you don’t have  *Rolls eyes* Beside those rants, Summer has really been good to me.  I  have been blessed and busy with a lot of work opportunities and the dope experiences that’s coming with them .While no office day is the same for me as a Free Lancer, one thing that I’m adamant about keeping up with is self care. No guide or self  help book got me this routine, simply being attentive, listening to my body and my gut. BODY AWDY // SKIN CARE When we don’t eat well, don’t work out and burn out , our bodies and skin will be the reminder and wake up call we need. After making peace that I may never like working out, it has been a routine the last couple of months.  Sometimes easy sometimes hard.  You’d have to …
